Morning ! Bit frosty here - glad no GH dash required this morningimage  but nice that its light enough that i could if i wanted!

Morning AWB - look forward to the stumpery picsimage

  • Morning van and chicky wow how nice to be in the light at work instead of the dark!!!!! Well I figured out what my seeds are last night!!! My lo loves to help and pulls the labels out so I have no idea what's what... One lot is nicotiana and the other is dierama...... Tooth ache is getting better thank god but I still have that full ache today I'm in a bit if a panic as I left some pain killers on the kitchen table and I'm hoping my lo doesn't find them before my husband! He's useless in the morning but I have repeatedly messages him already so!!!! I'm sure she won't touch them but!

  • Morning everyone.Am ready for work early sothought I would see who was here.Looks like a nice dry day so might take the children to feed the ducks on the canal this morning. It's lovely to be going to wok in daylight at last and see the birds having their breakfast before I go.Have a nice day everyone.

Morning Stacey - aren't the lighter mornings wonderfulimage. Hope toothache soon subsides image ... Think that smilie looks like it has toothache!

Morning Pinkie too - you sneaked in there.

  • Morning chicky and Stacey. Can't stand toothache.Hope it's better soon.

  • Good morning all image  Marmalade boiling day - the house will smell wonderful - then Aubergine parmagiana to make for supper - the house will smell even wonderfuller image

Didn't go to bed at 8.30 last night Panda, but I've found knitting and noodling with you at the same time impossible - you get tangled up with the wool, especially as it's a lacy pattern image

Did I tell you all that daughter got the job she wanted last week image  Very proud - she's been working in retail (wedding dresses) as a temporary measure ever since she graduated, hoping to get a job with Mencap, and she's done it!!!

Pod, I remember son's first day - he was fine but his best friend escaped from the school and ran all the way home!!!!!!!!!!!!  That was in the days before schools were the impregnable fortresses that they are now.

  • Ooooo marmalade dove sounds wonderful. Do you use Seville oranges? I made it once but just dot have the time now..... Got to start work oh Tracey your seeds are in a bigger envelope and will be posted today for you .....enjoy. My lo can't wait to go to school it's funny cause when I had her on the 2nd midwife visit so she must only have been a week old the midwife said " the teachers are going to know her name at school!" And they already do dispute her having 2 more years to wait! How did she know??!!!! Lo goes with childminder to drop her boys off and always goes into the classroom sits down and apparently tells the teacher "when I come to school this is where I would like to sit please!" She's not even 3 yet for crying out loud!!!!! I sense trouble ahead! Oh has anyone grown carrots in sand before?

  • Yep, Seville oranges - and this year I'm using Demerara sugar for a slightly caramelised flavour - as per the River Cottage Preserves book.
