Dove Yes, he is from a Hereford Bull, by AI. We will keep him until he goes in the beef ring at market. Some of the Hereford X heifers we might be keeping as our son wants to do sucklers.image

Busy I have been there! OH s favourite, I can just imagine where you are!

Back from neurosurgeon, nice chap need scan. When booking it receptionist asked if I was claustrophobic, I said "a bit" "ha" she said " you are in for fun?"  Argggggg!

Any ideas welcome, but, I have to drive there so large brandy out!

LillyP - you'll be fine - they'll support you - a young person I used to work with was claustrophobic - she also had uncontrolled epilepsy and cerebral palsy with associated learning disabilities - she thought she'd be scared, but she managed it without a meltdown - you'll do it too image ((hugs))

    Evening all.

Gentle day - bit of h/work, haircut and some light dead heading and lawn edging. Need to buy some more plants for mid summer colour.

KEF - hugs for you and your mum. I also hope somebody will supply me with cream buns in the years to come image

HOSTA - Congratulation to you & hubby - enjoy your celebrations - I hope he selected a couple of VERY expensive bottles. Serves them right on all counts image

LILY P - Sorry to hear your news. I know somebody who invested in a couple of hours with a yoga teacher before a scan session. She was able to pick up some breathing and relaxation techniques which helped her a lot. She said it was nowhere near as bad as she thought it would be - she kept her eyes closed and concentrated on being in her 'special' place. Are you allowed to wear an MP3 player? Calming music might also help.

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
