    Evening all.

Great match Rb, in doubt until final whistle. Both teams so much better than England, sadly.

Wet all day here, could not even face the walk to greenhouse, so reading papers all day on the sofa.

OH coking Thai chicken tonight, then back to sofa to watch anything other than SCD!

How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

I am fed up as we have 8 guests for dinner tonight and it clashes badly with SCD. Charlie is over tired, OH is grumpy and glaring at over-tired child and this is me in the kitchen hiding, what other option is there??

A tip - develop a short-lived but very heavy head cold - no real symptoms except blocked ears - you won't be able to hear them image

I will win Lesley... I just have to come up with a cunning plan.....image

Can't watch it either doc. For someone who loves Gene Kelly and all the great Hollywood musicals - it just leaves me cold. Watching amateurs at anything has that effect on me...image  Is that very bad? image

I assume you are all in bed now. My clocks haven't yet caught up with your change, so still showing a 10 hour difference. To fill in time while laying here snuggled under the bedclothes, I've been re-reading old GW magazines. It's very inspiring. I'm all set to get out later and do some things that could do with a bit of TLC.

Jo, my thoughts are with you.

Dove.  ...... Are you there?  I seem to have just come around Tofino I  have a venison sausage down my jumper, two behind my ear and three waiting to be cooked. Thanks!

runny,  the hole did return, we filled it with shredded paper this time to see what happens. So far nothing and that's a month now.  However, the irritations I am having just now seem to have arisen from someone messing with the water. New houses built across the road.  Why do folk have to mess with what works just fine????

Lilyp, I wanted to look at your thread again where you explained about the water problem, but couldn't find it.  Tell me again what it was called, please.image

Well, the clocks have been adjusted and now I'm 11 hours ahead. That'll limit the amount of time I can join in the chats. Boo hoo!  It also means that when I usually flop around 4pm here and expect to see Dove or someone else on at your 6am, I'll have to wait until later which will start to clash with the evening meal preparation time.  The best time for me is first thing in the morning and I can catch up with yesterday's posts.
