It's dangerous to scan-read your posts too quickly Verdun - having picked up 'Christopher Lloyd' and 'black negligee' the image in my head was ...... !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I think Hosta should get one - then he could get his Waitrose deliveries done without all that driving around and carrying stuff up and down steps that hurts his knee
........ I just read that Tesco have introduced a new variety of crisp - people are asking 'is this the most middle class crisp ever ?' It's Prosecco and elderberry ...
I think that sounds really naff and chavvy as well as totally revolting

Rb I don't know about babe magnet but if they get too close to his hairspray they'll never get away. The poor dog has a sneezing fit every time she walks past the bathroom while he's spraying.
Verdun did I hear negligees and frocks? oh, sorry, phlox
Love the idea of that delivery service Dove Btw never been known for doing things by halves so I've got a huge pan simmering with three times the recipe. I have used stock and it smells amazing.
LilyP I'm sorry you're having a hard time with all the red tape I hope there's a resolution for you. In the meantime enjoy the sausages Dove's sending
Fairy I won't be tempted with those crisps. I like mine to taste of potato
We've got the fun job of amending our dradft copies of our wills to-day.
Re soup. OH used to have a contract painting at a fairly smart hotel. He asked the chef to cover a massive soup pot as he was painting the ceiling, but he told him to carry on as they'd lost the lid.
Everything went into that soup , even veg scraped off the plates of diners. !!!
Damp and misty this morning, like most of this country by the sound of things. Pat's weather looks very inviting... and that view is wonderful!
Runny, I'm pretty sure we put the clocks back tonight, not Sunday. But no doubt I'll be corrected if wrong...
It's been very entertaining reading all your posts this morning. Re Dove's leek & potato soup: OH is supposed to be on a low salt diet, so 3/4 tablespoon of salt sounds a bit extreme - though I guess using stock would mean you could reduce the salt. (Actually, most of my home-made soup is just "soup", having lots of leftover bits & pieces in it from the freezer.)
Made mincemeat yesterday, and now my hair seems to smell indelibly of cinnamon. Though I suppose there are worse things for it to smell of...
My role re ironing is to de-scale it & clean the soleplate so OH can iron faster
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Phewwww, what chatty lot you are this morning.
BL, I iron too. Not a favourite job of mine.....but mainly cos I'm so fussy about the clothes being ironed properly
Soooo much to comment on, sexy boys, hairspray, dogs, soup, plants, bulbs, shopping, mops, clouds, bricks .........oh heck can't remember the rest
Hope all poorly peeps are feeling better.
Have a good day peeps.
TTFN x
Hi all
Claws are gorgeous and a dark blood red colour
Was up super early for a Saturday
But she came to my house, so that wasn't too bad
All your weather sounds a bit weathery, mine is a bit meh!
Glad someone is keeping up the skills of ironing Lizzie, mine has been used 3 times in 3 years
To redeem myself, most of my clothes don't need an iron
