Lovely news Verdun - will that make you a GUV ? (Grt Uncle V). My girls had a GAM and a GUB, names that stuck for years
Had a good (if somewhat soggy) day with family ... Got a bit of sunshine in time for the obligatory woofer walk this afternoon. Amazed to see camellias blooming down there on the south coast.
Morning all. Still raining! Amazing. hubby said it hasn't stopped all night and it's heavy enough that even I can hear it on the roof. Water running everywhere down the hill. Should've been careful what I wished for, eh?
Congrats to Verdun's niece. Nice to have the event over at last, we've all been on tenterhooks. My sister has become a great GM again last week - name Edmund.
im surprised that there hasn't been a post from Hosta. Maybe there isn't internet coverage there.
speaking of teachers - memories do stay, don't they? I remember vividly in about 3rd class sitting to my friend Berry Howlett who was a bit tubby, and getting the giggles when she breathed in and out strongly and burst the press stud which was holding her belt closed. I got caned for that! Funnily, years later, I reminded that teacher about that incident (she had stayed in the town and married the son of the local newsagent ). She had the grace to get a bit pink and uncomfortable when I told her I never got over the injustice of it. I did feel better for telling her though.
Hi Panda, I shouldn't have said morning should I, I really meant good evening, by the time on your post. As usual, thankfully, I slept like a log and am still in bed with my iPad.

Forgot what the smell of wet dog was like in the corner of the bedroom.

Feels like I was just saying good night to you!!! Seems odd to think that you have had a good nights sleep in between my posts!

Congrats Verdun, good weight, and good name
Film was good - no spoilers from me though
