    blowing a gale here in north manchester  moved a lot of pots . slabs on bins. etc  candles cakes and lighters  ready .. beef cass for teaimage

    Going downstairs for a while where it doesn't sound as bad, but lights will still keep flickering.

    Can't imagine what it's like for some. Hugs

    Bl.....y heck street lights now gone out...I'm downstairs deffo now.  If elec goes off what happens to me fish pie?...not a priority.

    Might be back later this evening.

    Same here archie, windy (steady), moved stuff, found torch AND beef cass which has been bubbling away in slow cooker while I was with the Oddsockers!

    Lights flickering. Obsessively been watching news on tv since I got home, cannot believe this weather! Hope everyone's safe, well actually more than that, really hope all your properties are as well (too much to hope?).
