No reason for this picture other than to brighten up an otherwise dull day...

Clari I wish you could give me those Hostas, I love them slugs or not, for my plant sale on Saturday. Fancy a quick weekend in France?

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Obviously back home after SM trot with Mum image  Nothing in GH wants water as it's dry and warm at moment I've opened the door wider. O/S toms in planters had better be tough or have ability to swim image After all this rain I think a lot of plants in pots and garden will need another base feed.

Has anyone reminded Dove's under gardener to make a start on the curry ?

I am rather worried about my garden that is entirely made up of pots... Everything I've planted could certainly do with some experience as pond plants... yuk. Strawbs seem to be suffering most!

    Nice pic Percy image

Lizzie I'll send my hosta by tardis, already flowering but have a lot of chomps image I'm wondering if I'll bother next year, they are in pots on patio and even with beer traps they have been attacked. Ones in garden don't look that much worse image Good luck & enjoy your fund raiser, please send me a scone & some of your jam back in the tardisimage

Lesley , PM me your address for hellebore seeds.

Kef, I'll plant some and you can have seedlings .

Dad(accompanied by Mum) went to docs this morning, to find that wednesdays appt (from a monday booking) was meant to be next wednesday. He got seen anyway by the duty doctor, and No, he cant have a cylinder of oxygen just in case he gets breathless again. His Sats were OK apparently. I thought he just wants it as a security blanket, but he has instructions now, if in doubt phone for an ambulance. 10 days for a doctors appointment after he just spent a week in hospital because of GP laxness is ridiculous.

    Mum is bearing up well.

Double pink spotted is the one at top left. I planted some yellow single but I'm hoping for some more.

Ooooh Clari, wish I lived close to you, I love hostas, and they are whoppersimage

Fairys right they would be a lot of money at the gc. You could get 'saucers' for your pots and stand them in there with gravel.

Fidget they are lovely & thanks.

Parents come with problems but you'd think after time in hospital that an appointment would be more forthcoming.  Last time I had probs about appointment I said M was over 75 and was entitled to HV if she couldn't get to surgery & I wasn't available 3 days hence, amazing she was fitted in that teatime. image I know GP's have heavy work loads but crickey..

.I once had to have telephone consultation about an ear infection and they didn't laugh when I remarked about new technology that phones could look into your ears image
