I don't think my housework talent would be good enough to do yours as I like everywhere tidy and then can't be ar**d to clean proper, more a quick flick
Doing well in garden though despite two fatalities today, one pigeon and one mouse Breaks my heart
Not my doing btw! Just found them out there
Star gaze I guess you still need time to let it sink in that you are not at work now, I bet you feel like you are on holidays Enjoy not knowing the date or times, don't let it worry you xx
KEF my iPad did it again! And made you a boy on previous post, sorry
Panda your arch looks lovely and the blue is brill choice It will look really good if you put the new plants in as you say. As temp measure why not cover that broken window With material or pretty paper and paint the edge with the blue if any left over from the arch and will look like a curtained window
I love your wrought iron table and bench, will look lovely in your new garden room
Great plan Panda . My only suggestion is to put the red robin next to the fence - they get quite big, and might overwhelm the rest if it was in the middle. I spotted birthday tree too - looks lovely framed by the arch.
fidget - sounds wonderful. We are not quite overwhelmed with produce yet, but i am pleased withmy new raspberry canes.
had a lovely day pottering - seemed to be busy in a random sort of way. Couldn't really tell you what i did, but it felt productive. About to post some pics on other threads ....
Glad you met up with OL KEF. Did she by any chance mention that she may be going on holiday sometime soon Agree that her ankle is far from recovered but bad sprains can take longer to mend than a broken bone. Did MrsG make it?
I was worried about the chicken cooked rarely too lily I like Beaus idea for the shed window. When does she get time to think of all these things? Oh yes - at work
All the food being cooked tonight sounds great. We did have our main meal at lunchtime though - lamb shanks, mashed potatoes and runner beans with plenty of mint sauce. Could eat it again
Mum was much brighter today and taking an interest in other things - especially the crossword I'm beginning to realise that having a sibling does not always halve the work but can lead to resentments and arguments. When it does work though it can be a godsend. Yvie, Dove and Verdun and all others going through the mill - huge hugs.
When I eventually get home and see all the weeds and broken flowers I'll want to turn round and come back. I'd really miss my dog though
Hello everyone Well that was a long day, but seen it was for a lovely customer and I met KEF I don't mind too much Sorry I didn't get to meet MrsG but maybe again sometime soon.
Thank you for your kind words KEF, you must have thought I was a proper muppet when you arrived......I was doing sampling for drinks and KEF asked me if I had any courgette flavour.....to which I just looked blank and like a complete wally LOL!! KEF is just as lovely as I thought she would be and brought me Dave toms and seeds and some other goodies......you Forkers friends are spoiling me Will have to arrange to meet up soon and have a proper chat with coffee and cake as we couldn't manage that today. KEF, I have tiger balm on my ankle now and it's up resting
The best thing about working Sunday is I came home to a lovely roast made for me by my boys (mainly biggest boy with some help off the other 2!!), so nice to be cooked for.
Right off for a mooch and a catch up, you've all been so busy today.
Hi all. Me thinks Panda meant rarely cooked as in not often done by her
OL not a muppet you had your work head on and when a customer asks for courgette juice you are a bit Soz I was naughty Keep that ankle elevated after hours standing on it and a long drive home !!
Will chat to you all tomoz just popped back to make sure our friend OL had got home okay
Hmm, I did think my rarely cooked chook comment might have read a bit wrong when I wrote it Obv I will cook it properly
Chicky, I'm still having a think about the planting. Have golden rod in the border where the new bit will meet it, and don't really want to move it. Might leave the red robin out of the mix, but it will provide year round interest when the others lose their leaves. More thinking needed . . . .
OL, glad you had a lovely meet with KEF Did you get her to buy anything?
Posts
Thanks KEF
Enjoy your dinner - we are having a rarely cooked roast
We are having chook, and thank you M&S for offering it all for £10
Still doing good Bekkie
Just on coffee break
