Wind came whistling through here last night too - didn't do much for my beauty sleepimage.  Will be a bit ragged todayimage.  OH has just been for a bit of an inspection, and thinks all looks ok.  Must remember to put my bin out this morning - left it last night for exactly the reasons Dove saw.

went to gardening group last night - picked up a new snowdrop Mighty Atom. Need to find it a home this weekendimage

Morning all. Ironing done, tea drunk, curtains kept closed so we don't need to see what damage has been caused until its light enough to do something about it.

Glad you've come through without damage Verdun - hope the rest of the West Country's the same image

I understand that Galanthus Mighty Atom comes from Benhall in Suffolk - I too come from that area - it should come home to me image

Morning all. Still no boiler fixed but I'll put a pair of tights on under my kilt so I should be fine image

Very windy here last night and high winds for today again with more snow tomorrow. The bench blew over last night in garden but no idea what else as it's too dark to see. I'm not going out to sort it anyway! Hope everyone is ok and has battened all hatches accordingly.

Haven't really watched the gardening programmes apart from a bit of MrT last night. The Scottish couple with the stripey lawn made me laugh. Hope she doesn't flip one day or he'll be found mown into his lawn one day like a Midsomer Murder image

Off to work shortly so will catch up later. Stay safe and warm everyone.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Morning image

It looks quite calm here, but then I am snug inside my house - for now image Different story shortly when I'm off to work image Still . . . .today is my Friday as I am off to Somerset tomorrow for new niece's christening image

Fidget, hope OH finds some brekkie - no dinner last night is shocking image

Hope there's not much damage out there for you all.

Fairy, I'd go for more than tights under your kilt image

    Have a good day all

Morning all. Has anyone watched that Horizon dieting programme? I'm a "constant craver".

Amazing that DD has crocus in flower already. I haven't, can't even see leaves, but then it's hard in grass. Can see daffodil leaves and some snowdrops have white tips, others have hardly started.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
