Yes I definitely am, just got rid of 100 emails.  Seems like everyone had a good day even OL who had to work.  OL I think you should go to you boss and tell them that you had a request for courgette juice, you never know it might be the next 'big thing'.

Did a bit in the garden today, planted some new foxgloves in quite a shady part of the garden so it should cheer it up a bit next year.

Im not sure what to do about Neon Star, if Im not mistaken hellebores can all be a little bit different and you are never quite sure what you are going to get.   I might plant it in a pot and wait until it has flowered before planting in the garden.  I also have to buy a new pot for the blue salvia I bought.  Oh dear I feel another trip to the garden centre coming on.

Lesley, Im sure you dont look old enough for the librarian's comments perhaps she had poor eyesight.

    Enjoy your bath KEF

Off for a quick look round

Don't use all the hot water KEF I need to get a wash too. Left for work 08:30 yesterday got back 19:00 today and have been firmly planted in a blanket since then. Autumn is sneaking in a bit quick!

Evening all. Busy day. Friends came to lunch after church. They admired the garden which gave me a boost. Then at 5.30pm we and a couple of the friends went to a violin and cello concert in a pretty village, Saint Jean de Cole. It was very good. We came home and dealt with all the washing up, then had sweet corn from the garden. Now I'm catching up with emails and stuff on the laptop.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

SGL, don't worry. Soon you'll wonder how ever you found the time to go to work.

Kef, Are those  cheese biscuits malteser shape, or are you having those for pudding.

Yviestevie. I think that neon star is micropropagated so all should be identical. The seedlings, Ashwood only sell in flower, and are described as eg yellow single with yellow nectaries.  The names ones are all clones from the same plant.

I didn't get as far as the steak. Courgette fritters and salad filled me up. As the roast potatoes were already in the oven, we ate them. would have been a waste otherwise.image

OH is watching James May and cars, so I might go and upload some photos.
