    We had to have a cowl (horrible plastic thing) on our chimney to stop rain and birds. The original was an upturned curved roofing edge that looked lovely. Didn't comply with various regulations though image 

    Couldn't you have a metal cowl?

    May be but is that horrible reddy plastic colour - still there are a couple of others in street now so doesn't look out of place.

    But it's not original now, 

     

    Doesn't matter though in the general run of thingsimage

    I can see you both too. But I often find that when you post something you don't get a response, people post what they would like to say and don't engage, like in a conversation. Tha's what happens in forums. But if you ask a question here then people often do respond.

    Just had a reply from Daniel re the issues with notifications/PM issues etc. He's trying to gather all the info (as it's not just one problem) and hopes to have an update tomorrow. image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    couldnt see the garden when i left this morning, cant see it now im home!

    FB certain insects dont do well in the rain.

    Panda n others, sorry youve had troubles due to the storms.

    Wish I had some garden news to share, but I`ll just have to wait n see what youve all been up to.

    A Painted Lady and some dragonflies were about today. And the Red Kite put in an appearance for Dove just as I'd promised
