Morning all. Very black clouds overhead - hope they don't produce anything...
Aaah dodgy builders Liz - the scourge of all houseowners aren't they? It always worth having good, reliable ones even if it means paying a bit more. The good guys are worth their weight in gold.
Painting today if it stays dry - anyone fancy doing all the trellis?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I probably should do some housework before OH gets back. Do you think vacuum cleaners are safer than wheelbarrows?
Good to see you Fb - no leave vacuum cleaners well along - OH says I always complain that my back hurts after I've wielded the vacuum, so it's his plaything rather than mine now
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Vacuums definitely a no-no ! Glad you are feeling better after your tumble. Stacey - pleased to hear about your thalictrum shoot - will have a furtle for mine tomorrow.
On a train to Londinium - busy day ahead, so not quite ready to start looking forward to the w/end yet ...... Will check in on my way home, when hopefully my gardening mojo will have returned
Lizzie, your plight sounded like a chapter from "A year in Provence". As Tracey says life is precious & for enjoying.
Fidget glad you are okay today. Bit of a dilemma? No vacuuming and fess up to your accident, or keep stum and clean. If you tell you might be banned from wheelbarrows as well as ladders. Do you have dimmer switches if so you can hide the cleaning
My OH is handy with the vacuum, but the skirting boards don't like him doing it.

All ok here. Just thinking about getting out of bed.

No Fidget, leave it for today, leads always seem to attack me on the stairs
I have one of those mini hand held things for the stairs. I agree that leads are a bit of a trip hazard. It's a sunny day out there but a bit windy.
LOL Lily, that's what I get for rushing
Hope you're sister is ok by the way, I forgot to mention last night.
I'd leave the hoovering FB if you still feel groggy, you need to look after yourself.
Lizzie, that's sad
It just shows how previous life is, but I know from your posts you are happy now
Well, sofas to clean that I've sold on eBay so must go.....BFN x
