I finally found a use for the mini rake for houseplants that someone bought me. It's good for scooping up those big fat slugs and dropping them in strong salt solution.. the snails got crunched underfoot. I also found 2 baby frogs, so I guess the ducks didn't eat all the tadpoles.

Sweetpea where did you get those storage boxes? They're BEAUTIFUL!! Much envy from the cardboard box brigade over here!

I'm back on a computer. This time at home tidying up my CV. Partner being "helpful" suggested I had a rum and coke... not sure that and CV would have been a good idea image

    Shall I start on Monday?"

Although at least I'd actually be writing my CV not looking for gardening ideas on here!! image

I wish I could say they're from some wonderful independent seller, they are from my local Sainsbury's, but they are sold out now, at least in my quite small local. You might be lucky, I believe they are in the sale? They do sell the allotment boxes, or seed container things on amazon in various colours. The parsley pot was from a 99p shop, and the black tin was 70p in the ASDA home sale, I think it was part of a tea caddy set maybe? I always try and find things in the sale, as £20 for a metal box was a bit pricey imo, got it for £13 so patience paid off.

Now if only I could get rid of that woodchip and paint the room a nice light blue.

Oh don't mention woodchip! We've three rooms that we need to hack the woodchip off - managed to put off starting for six months now but I'm not sure how longer we can keep finding excuses.

I don't even know where my nearest Sainsburys is! Bit posh for us is Sainsburys! But I'll keep my eyes out you never know we might strike lucky image

Sainsbury's is closest to us, and it's near Homebase where we like to see if there's any plants to 'rescue'image

We can't touch the woodchip - we rent. Nasty vile stuff. Apologies if anyone has it and likes it! Just it's not for me at all!

Morning all, can't bring myself to say good. Cloud and rain here. Also someone has eaten almost all of a cosmos purity image

Morning KEF - we've nicked your sunshineimage Hope you have other cosmos to fill its place. Mine are still in the GH, but will have to come out soon.

Got past the week's half way point - time to start planning the weekend's list.  Top is getting my pots of annuals potted up - think it is finally safe to remove the old daffodil leavesimage

Good morning all image  no sunshine here image  but at least it's dry - so far.

Have to go to GC later - have vouchers to be spent this afternoon only 30% off, so stocking up on compost etc will be done.

Apart from that, h**sew**k and cooking must be done - friend arriving for the weekend tomorrow!!!

Morning all. Wet here too KEF. Very wet all night I think. Not much chance of getting the grass cut later...image

I gave up with Cosmos. Everything is growing like mad now. I'd planned to split two big phormiums but kept putting it off. One will have to wait as it now has a large flower spike... every cloud...image

Some of my daffs have only just finished chicky!

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
