Thank you Fairy. I'm still achey and bunged up, it'll pass, only a cold.

Congrats GU Verdun and best wishes to the rest of the family.

I won a prize in the Cadbury competition too.  A tin of choccies and certificated.  Don't have the cert though.  I do have my baptism certificate though.  Mum didn't really keep things like that.  No toys either.

It's very grey and miserable here.  Secondborn and partner are back from the lakes and once more the house descends into chaos.

Hubby is have the oil removed tomorrow from behind his eye and if all goes well that should be the last procedure.

Off to see mum now before it gets really dark.

Verdun - imageimage - Congratulations to you and your (very recently extended) family - lovely name.

Runny - sorry I missed your earlier question. No I'm not a January baby - I'm an October brat. Don't know much about horoscopes other than I'm a Libra (scales) and I take forever making the smallest decisions - always weighing up the pros and cons - can usually see both sides of an argument - and will always play devil's advocate in a discussion. That said - plodding perfectionist just about sums me up too. The number of times I say "That'll do" - stand back - and then have to go in for a final tweak - ironing, decorating, flower arranging, planting - everything.

Yvie - I thought you said you'd been certified....should have gone to specsavers...image

Hope all goes well with Mr Yvie tomorrow.

T'bird - you and me both. I get very pedantic over little things and beat myself up if I feel I could have done them better - get it from my Dad image

Even better lily - it has raisins, cranberries and sunflower seeds in it as well. image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

It would be a sin to let them go stale, SGL.  image

I like the quote... unfortunately I was brought up not to waste food, so that means eating up all the Christmas cake, mince pies etc before going out & buying something healthy.  image
