Raining here too, my fault though as I set my sprinkler going yesterday in an effort to soften up the ground ahead of some digging and planting today Won't be doing that now .....
Liri - we used to holiday at Benderloch when I was a child. On the mainland, due east from Lismore. We went for the September weekend, a Glasgow holiday at the end of September and stayed in a caravan next to a tiny little beach
Rain's gone off here too so I should really be more productive if my aching limbs can be shifted
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Well, it brightened up this afternoon allowing me to get going Have weeded/dug out my large bed and planted it up with a mix of plants Not taking a pic though as there are still some bald and weedy spots
We had some rain eventually....but not much. Put on a hat and went out there anyway My GH is now empty, save toms and cuc's, and nearly all my annuals are now in the ground. Really looking forward to seeing how the "night and day" snapdragons, and the heliotrope turn out ....first time for me for both.
just had our own potatoes and our own shredded cabbage leaves for tea (plus a piece of chicken that Mr Lewis provided) ....i'm quite liking this veg growing thing

Lily Pilly, our cottage is on the Isle of Lismore, in Loch Linnhe. I'm taking the sexy midge hood, described here yesterday...
Rain this morning but it looks like good gardening weather now...

Panda - I have sheets and pillows on my bed....

I've done nothing today other than a bit of cleaning and washing etc. Carry out for tea. Don't feel guilty at all
