Hi Folks, I go away for a day and I find pages and pages of chatter.  I've read back and still recovering from the shock of Busy finding a snake in her garden, OMG I would die of shock, have a real phobia and doubt I could ever set foot in there again.

Sorry about the camera FG.  When you said about going back to look, you reminded of when my dad lost his false teeth in the Clent Hills, he had taken them out and put them in his pocket.  When we got home he realised they weren't there and he sent us back with torches to look for them.  Needless to say we didn't find them, but it makes me smile everytime I think about it.

    Hope DD's day goes well.

Busy day yesterday, went to a fundraising fun day in aid of the Nepalese.  It was lovely sitting in the sun eating food cooked by a family from Nepal.  There was a good turnout so I'm hoping the raise a good amount.

Last night was my new next door neighbours housewarming, had a really good time and drank a little too much so a bit of a headache this morning.image

Terrible to hear of the shootings in Tunisia.  One family is from Sandwell which is close to me and where  I was born, don't know them but somehow it seems even worse when it it so close to home.

Rained this morning but weather supposed to brighten up this afternoon.  I've been out and tied up some roses that were making it difficult to walk through the arch onto the lawn.  Haven't got any further as had to pop and visit mum and decided that today was Moan for Britain Day.  She got quite a few things off her chest and seemed in a better mood when I left.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their day.

    We'll just whisper Yvie...image

Your story about the teeth made me chuckle image It was my own stupid fault with the camera. Just as well I'd transferred all the pix from it before I went though.

I'd love a snake in the garden image

I bought one of those metal firepit/burner/bbq thingies WW. It's rained ever since....image

Well - not quite image   I have a load of heavy cardboard to burn as the paper recycling won't take it and I'm emptying the compost bin just now. You should see the size of box they used to deliver one pair of insoles yesterday. It's the size you'd use for a DVD player or small tv. They should have been small enough to shove through the letter box!

Haha! Think I'm going to need the rain FG just to get a fork in the compacted ground! I'm making it in the true womble tradition from reclaimed rubbish. And just as I typed that the heavens have opened and I'm sheltering in the shed with 2 annoyed cats!

Bad luck with the camera, but as you say at least you have the pics! image

Think I should set up my mail order ladybird company, I could cater for any requests, I'll put your name down Liri! image

Fairy, hope you didn't have any precious pics on camera. I'd be more upset about the pics than the camera.

Feeling very lazy today, not done much at all imageimage

Have to say Wonky, I have only seen 1 ladybird this year, and that was yesterday.  Mind you I have also only seen 1 Lily Beetle and hardly any black or green fly.

Lots and Lots of bees though.  Butterflies have been few and far between so far.

No lily - I transfer everything at the end of each day. The only ones I lost were the ones I'd already taken on my walk. Pity - the wild orchids were gorgeous and one of the little froggy were sweet image

I've done nothing except sort some washing and faff about on here image
