Panda is home I too wrote a long post (from the train) and then lost reception and therefore the post
I had a lovely day too, def worth the travel, and I had great company I think we were chatting too much to remember to take photos We did all 15 gardens, starting with Woody's, which was fabulous We met Gg. who is lovely she'd already done 4 or 5 by the time we met at Woody's. No doubt she will have taken some pics We had tea, coffee, cake(s) and ice cream..... somehow I missed the Pimms
chicky and I then went back to hers and she showed me round her gorgeous garden it really is rather lovely. And a match for those we saw today
Morning all - i said it would be an early start for me think i have beaten most of the birds to it - its quiet out there. Hope you all have a great day
Glad Woody's visitors had a lovely day - I hope Ggirl took some photos
It looks as if a fine day may be on it's way ... just as well as today has been designated 'Waxing the Parquet Day' - an annual event that got delayed due to Pa's demise. OH is going to help
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all. Glad the travelling forkers had a lovely day- looking forward to pix and full reports
Glad your holiday went well Liri.
'Waxing the parquet' - hope that's not a euphemism Dove...
Didn't need my simmit yesterday Lesley - although it was only about 6 degrees when I set off. No wind but wet, and cloudy higher up so no views. Sun was splitting the trees when I was half way back to the car though... I did get a pic down in the glen of what I think was an orchid so I'll put it on later when I get a chance.
Off for a quick look round here before I take daughter to work and - also myself!
Have a good day everyone
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Great morning here... open day attracted about 350 visitors to the village. Not sure of exact amount raised for our chosen charities, but it looks like a very successful event. Feedback on gardens was very positive and kind. Weather was better than forecast and the sun made an appearance from time to time.
Great to see Gg, Chicky and 4th Panda. Amazing that they would travel so far. Hope pictures will follow.
My resolution now is to enjoy my garden and maintain it lovingly so that it never becomes a chore again, needing as much work as this time! There is loads more flower power to come.

Welcome back Liri. Finland sounds lovely, apart from the mozzies, and am looking forward to seeing your pics.

Morning all. Reggie is improving and certainly has his appetite back!
It's now a beautiful day and I'm off work: hurrah! A bit of pottering in the garden is required before the weeds take over.
