  • Morning all,

Hope your OH is ok Hosta, what a day. image

Yvie, what a shame about your poor Mum. image

GWRS - A car manual, that was a bad day. image

Good news about Pa Panda and the oven though. image

My saga with shadow continues but is now much more promising, absolutely overwhelmed with offers of help, a lot of forum friends and also an army of dog rescuers from a variety of networking sources, also friends of friends of friends on Facebook - amazing. Long term he will be fine, short term we need a foster home for about 3 or 4 weeks, awaiting some replies this morning. Feel so relieved. And thanks to all of you on here for such valiant support, so, so kind. image

    Good day to all. image

Morning all.  A much more gentle 30 students today in the museum. Yesterday was interesting: their booking form didn't arrive until the afternoon so there was no way I could know what tour they wanted until they arrived then it turned out they wanted two different types. Agh!

Oh well I am if not used to smiling through blind panic.

DD I hope you find that foster home soon: if I were closer he could come here.

  • I wondered where you all were this morning,  The kids slept in too so I sat at the breakfast table alone wondering if I'd got the time wrong!

  • Morning all,

DD so glad to hear its all comming together for you and shadow. I had two labs best dogs i ever had also best friends. Well done to all the forkers that helped/ are helping renews ones faith in people.

Have a good day all image

Morning all. Dull and cloudy here today but not too cold.

Hosta and Yvie  image  Hope you both have a better day today. Difficult for your mum Yvie, but I suppose if they feel she's not ready, it's better than going home, becoming worse  and then having to go back.

GWRS - I would only have the log book in the car for that kind of situation. Perhaps I should keep a gardening magazine or a walking book there for any future emergencies! image

DD- glad things are working out. I'm sure someone will come forward to foster him - he looks so lovely. It must help a little bit to know that so many people want to take him  image

Off to have a look round and a catch up before I go to work - hope today brings good things for you all.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Morning all.

Bright and sunny morning and forecast for rest of week sounds promising.

DD, so glad that things are getting sorted for Shadow. Do really feel for you and Charlie. How is Charlie coping DD, sending big hugs to you both and best wishes x

Hosta hope your OH is less frazzled today. Have a good day.image

Off to shops today, just a few bits to get.

Have a lovely day everyone enjoy the sunshine image

  • Morning SGL,

Thanks for asking about Charlie. He is a bit upset, but kids of 8 are still a bit selfish, he was pleased he was still here last night but was soon more worried about what was for tea. image  He did have a little wobble this morning, asking would he still be here when he gets home from school. Really now we have to get him in a foster home asap for the good of Shadow and also to draw a line under it for Charlie, not knowing, and therefore not moving on is tricky. I do have a wonderful lady working her socks off to sort this out though so I do think very soon at least the first step will be taken. I just know I am going to spend the rest of my life fundraising and contributing to her charity, she is so amazing with the work she does - and the way she does it. image

LesleyK, you caught me on the hop with that question. Couldn't remember all the names, but there was Panda, KEF and Paulipaul.  There were two others as well. Anyway the list of ignores is now empty, thank goodness. I will really need to watch how that happened. I've got a bit of any idea but I'll be ready for it next time the machine tries to trick me.image

just back from the Dr, my blood test cleared liver, pancreas, but I'm still very unhappy each day until about 4pm. I'm now lined up for ultrasound and more blood tests this time for celiac and irritable bowel. They are just eliminating!
