I am a bit bemused by the mycorrhizal fungus. Wouldn't any well rotted FYM or a bucket of good home made compost supply the same?
They use it a lot in Australia, but they are planting on practically pure sand. I thought I had sandy soil until I saw what my friend had in Perth. You might as well try planting on a beach. They add the fungi powder, but no nutrients for natives. If you add nutrients, the native plants die.
KEF I bought cream for our Christmas eve dinner which was use by 27th December - still fine on our apple pie on 30th...takes more than the use by date to put me off....
Am I wrong or is the mycorrhizal fungus to encourage lots of little roots which help establish the plant/shrub and aid the take up of water and nutrients?
never a scientist around when you need one is there...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Glad to see JohnH making a speedy return to good spirits - hope you are dancing soon!
I always use M fungi, but no idea whether it works as have never put one in without as a comparison - the GC's love me - i just part with my money, no questions asked.
Foul weather to start a new year - just been to retrieve a chicklet and the roads are flooded in parts. OH fancies a walk, whatever the weather - think i might wrap up and join him. And we don't even have a dog to walk
I've got a Flowerfairy book Chicky, I bought it when I was 26, late developer
Fairy like the Avatar. I can spell it because I spent lots of time complaining that I couldn't post one. Daniel sorted it out. Manners KEF...Happy New year Daniel & techies.
