There are now roads closed up here with flooding and landslides. Not the Rest and be Thankful - for a change - although I'm not convinced those huge 'cages' they've hoiked up against the hill there will work... only a matter of time.
What with the rain and wind and the bridge closure - who'd want to be in Scotland right now!

Our house is opposite a t junction and it blows a gale down there and right down the path, birds shelter under the rambling rose, its got the feeders dotted over it and has big thorns for cat deterrent!

I'm heading out in a bit but have been commissioned to provide scrambled eggs and smoked salmon first! well its our Christmas with the kid! would love to join in the lazy afternoon but I'm gonna be cooking Christmas dinner! going for beef and all the bits! I'll let you all know what time we are serving!
