Thanks Yvie....  now that reminds me: must get some sweet pea seeds to sow for next year.  And get the winter onions in.

I'm also feeling lazy but really must get out and tidy the only patch of garden that's really mine (10 x 2 ft)!

  • Thanks RB, had a good mooch round shops, but mostly got bits for little poppet. Oh I did buy myself a new lippy and 2 photo frames.......err to put pics in of little poppet imageimageimage

Sun has gone behind the clouds now but it's still quite warm.

    Time for a cuppa.......and a biscuitimage

Afternoon image Project get winter sun in the garden has started image This is basically cutting back and shortening next door's laylandii - there side is completely dead/brown and all the greenery is on my side . . . . or at least it was . . . . have decided to sacrifice greenery for sun. . . . I can always plant a climber through the dead branches image Once I have enriched my soil of course image

Hope everyone else is having/has had a lovely day image

Now need to bring in the washing . . . which hasn't quite dried due to lack of sun image

Good to see you again Steve. How's the boat? We took some nice 'boat' pix at Ullapool on holiday, and it reminded me of you image

    I wouldn't eat a long tailed tit...honest guv...image

I'm still waiting for this year's sweet peas to flower. I was slightly late sowing them image

Sun has now come out a bit here but it's been cold all day. At least it reached double figures but it's only about 12 just now.

  • Oooo Yviestevie wot a clever idea. I have wee sticks and bits and pieces but they just blend in with all the other wee sticks!

They are on my labtop Fairy and nothing cheers me up in the middle of winter more than flicking through them.  It's also good to see what is in flower in the same month each year.

Sausage casserole has been made and eaten. Cup of char needed now image

RB - I know what you mean about the inside of the windows and our shower is over one of those P- shaped baths. It's a b****y nightmare to get in at to clean. In fact - I need to get in it....image

I currently have three large bin bags full of clothes that a colleague at work gave me for myself and the girls. She's convinced she'll never wear them again after she has her baby. She's small and keeps herself trim so not sure why she thinks that. There's more clothes in them than the three of us have - put together!  image

It'll take me forever to go through them image
