We are safe, thanks for the concerns everyone, we are 760 high here.

o h went out and did the rounds earlier , top pond is rushing into second which is pouring down to first then it all floods at the bottom near the road.  We spent so long this summer thinking we had solved it, ha!

it really hasn't let up for 24 hours be, the river has burst its banks in many places but so far everyone able to ge thro. It was the sight up the poor sheep this morning standing up to their knees in water, who would want to be a sheep?

Hope everyone's ok - good to hear from LilyP.

The wind's dropped here thank goodness - we have a friend visiting today - she'd have had a horrid journey if the wind was as strong as yesterday.

Thoughts are with all the rescue services, firemen etc who will have been working all night in some areas - heroes the lot of them image

Morning Dove and Verdun, it's still raining in the NW but we've been told it's going to stop around 1pm, thankfully no floods here but the rivers are up.

    What's for breakfast Dove? : )

Morning Lizzie, that looks a nice day out, the food looks lovely, gorgeous horses, I work with a young girl who has 4 horses and does shows nearly every weekend, she works very hard : ), what's the weather like where you live?

Morning allimage. Just about to shift my bones to give littlest chicklet a lift to work.  Wind has died down and a dry day forecast here, so might go and tackle one of my flowerbeds that needs a good tidy up.

Thoughts are with those who have suffered in the floods - an awful thing to happen to anyoneimage
