  • Morning all, afternoon Pat.

Think i know how a pin cushion feels. So many blood tests. However having read back i feel a bit of a fraud having had a scare i'm still here, there are others who are not. Sorry to hear your news Verdun. DD my thoughts are with you big bushman bearhug for you.

DD I hope you're able to find Shadow a nice town house with plenty of country parks and only tennis balls to chase. I'm glad Charlie has such a pragmatic answer and wish you both the very best in wandering the empty house when he sets off on his new adventure. We've had Reggie since February and I couldn't be without him now.

I've booked a weeks holiday (first holiday of the year) to look after the inlaws dog in December. I have to say I'm looking forward to it (now I know the dogs get on more than happily) more than if you booked me in for an all included holiday in somewhere warm and sunny. Funny what keeps a person happy.  Yay holiday!

Verdun: I hope your neice is okay today, I know that you're the perfect person to make sure she gets any extra help she might need to cope with the asshats in the world.

First school group visiting the museum this term: 70 of them! Why didn't I start with a nice small easy group to break myself back in gently? Keep the mugs of tea on standby for me!

Morning all. Hope today brings better things for everyone who needs it. glad you're feeling a bit better now Pat image

Bushman - think you've had plenty of trauma to deal with so don't feel that you're a fraud in any way.

Verd -  I'm slightly astonished that the perpetrators are in a position to be on Facebook instead of being in a jail somewhere. image image

Cold here - currently around 5 degrees, but the shiny round thing is out. Hope it stays - I love those kinds of days, even if I have to work.

Off for a look round before I go. Love to all of you that are struggling with with problems x

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Good morning,

Clari sounds like you have a 'fun' day planned, least it will probaably pass by in a quick blur. image

Bushman, glad you are feeling better, certainly not a 'bit of a fraud', one just doesn't know from one day to the next what is going to happen and that is certainly scary sometimes. Thank you for the bushman bearhug - not in the least scary.image

Pat I hope you are feeling a bit better too. image

Off to chase up leads and offers for poor Shadow today, hoping to get somewhere in France but have some offers from the UK if need be, just a bit of an (expensive) hike. Will do whatever works out best for him though. imageimage

Have a good day all, let's hope a day free from traumas for us all. image

    Morning all. Drizzling and grey.

Am going to look after daughter 2's two children after school, she's going to a teacher's meeting and husband is up north with work. They moved to 1h15 away in July. They were in the north of France, 8 hours drive away. Her OH's firm is re-locating him.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning all.

Ditto GWRS. I ,for once, am lost for words.

My warmest wishes to Verdun, DD, Pat and Bushman.

Hugs too to everyone else poorly.

Torrential rain on way. I've just lost sight of the turbine which acts as my weather vain .

OH called, he's stuck in traffic as they've closed the A3 at Guildford in both directions. He's 10 miles from there in stationary traffic.

He'll be working late tonight as he's planning on heading home first thing in the morning.

On a lighter note. I spoke with my niece last night. 1 1/2 hours to be precise. Lots of downs to her life since we last spoke 20 years ago ( at her Dad's funeral) but she's sorted now and got married last year. I'm happy for her and we'll not lose touch again.

OH just called. 3 1/2 hours after leaving the house, he's only traveled about 15 miles , so only half way to work.
