ERk! Have you started eating my friends now, GWRS?
Interesting talk about snakes and Badgers. thanks for the photo Bushman. Do you think they are getting flooded out of their burrows? It sounds very wet from what you have said.
Clari, what's with the biscuits? Did I miss something? Still trying to wake up - as usual HRH decided the household was too quiet so roused us both. Oh well, she probably has an ageing bladder (to be expected, I guess).
How long were they at your establishment? To eat ALL the chocolate biscuits?? But it is standard procedure to only eat no more than two biscuits UNLESS you brought them with you (in which case scoff away!) I'm afraid if you tried that here I'd have taken the tin away.
We really need to start getting finishing school more widely accepted. Far too many people are letting standards slip.
GWRS: I know it sounds odd but... as much I am enjoying the concept of a ginger crunchy biscuit (gluten free of course) I don't actually much fancy the having to eat it. I shall sit here and stare at the packet for a while and see what happens.
I also now feel guilty and gloating my wealth of biscuits when poor Verdun has non.
Verdun, now you know what to buy your friend for Christmas, make sure it's a really big packet of very rich chocolate biscuits, then you can sit back and gloat about how sick they'll make themselves.
Successful xmas shopping trip today with OH, almost finished just a couple of gift vouchers to get and a pr of earrings for dil which we will get (hopefully) when we go out together next week.
Also popped to see some friends for tea and cake now home in the warm with more tea.......any biscuits left?

Good morning all
G'day Pat
I'm here, but not very awake ... just having my first coffee ........
It sounds very windy outside.

And the sun's coming up very angry and red ... I've not looked at the forecast yet today ...

Forecast for us in Norfolk today, dry-ish 11C and strong winds from the southwest.
Tomorrow much the same but wetter - a friend from Cornwall is visiting us tomorrow - looks like the winds are blowing her on her way
Wow! The sky in the east is very red indeed !
