Hello and goodbye - not long in from the garden and going to bed in a few mins image

You were right Verd - glorious all day here image  May have to sleep with the window open! Just went straight from winter into summer. Light here till about half ten and then dawn comes at about half four or so - like living in Scandinavia image

Will catch up with you all tomorrow. Hope everyone is ok image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Good morningimage

It is a beautiful morning again - too warm to sleep without the window open so the birds kindly gave me a wake-up call at 4.15image.  I love it but wonder how I'll last the dayimage.

Fairy you're spot on with the missing spring. no time to acclimatise for us or the plantsimage.

Panda - hard luck this time but keep positive.  The RIGHT one will turn up and will be worth waiting forimage.

Clari, had to smile about your angry eyebrows - hope they don't fly off and attack anyoneimage.  Get them tied down asapimage.

Our dog has a hair appointment this afternoon and I'm ashamed of the matts in her ears.  She will not let us near her with a comb, brush or scissors but is quite happy with them doing itimage.

More pressure washing today - bet you're all glad you don't live next doorimage

    Have a good oneimage

    Morning all.

Perfectly indecent hour to be awake, but duty calls to-day.

Still have this hideous chilly Easterly wind but despite it managed to catch a few rays yesterday whilst working in garden.

Forecast for the next 24 hours isn't so rosey though.

Home at 4.so hopefully time to get a bit done in the garden before tunnel watering duties arrive.

    Devon.

Good morning Lesley, Hosta and  whoever arrives later ... image

I had to get up and change the middleweight duvet for the lightest one last night, but we still have that chilly wind coming from the east too so outside could be warmer.  Hopefully the wind will drop soon  ... image

Morning Hostaimage.  Playing devil's advocate here - have you thought of doing extra shits and investing in a self watering system?  I thought notimage.  Much better to be with the plants than away from themimage

I like watering the tunnels, It forces you to take your time and look at everything in there.

It does sound rather contemplative image

Lesley has provided my first giggle of the morningimageimage  Can't be badimageimageimage

I like watering too - as you say, it forces you to slow down.

Stephen Lacey was a very entertaining speaker - learned lots too.  Will have to have a think about plants to fill the scent gaps I have .....although the roses are getting into their stride out there at the moment, so this time of year is covered nicely.
