Flying visit, jam and evening meal on the go and off to help at local autumn fair v.soon.
Had a very frustrating time here: OH in UK, landline been faulty since last Friday, internet been off since Wednesday and mobile signal only works in the most awkward spot in the house to stand. Telephone company no help whatsoever, several engineers been and just scratched their heads. Finally came back on today but only temporarily, they have to fix an overhead cable on Monday so will probabaly be off again.
Will try & catch up with everything later but glad to see Dove, Hosta & co had a good time.
Jam is at setting point - must go.

Sat in the garden this afternoon with a glass of something chilled, contemplating the weeds....when the Vulcan bomber flew right over our heads..WOW!! Made my afternoon, it is a magnificent sight.
Linda , I too had the joy of a Vulcan flying, quite low right overhead a number of years ago.
I'd seen it on the previous day's local news being shown off after repair, I think , in Dorset. I was on Hants Surrey border and I'm guessing it was coming into land at Farnborough and had started decent. The ground litterally vibrated.
I use Farnborough station a lot. When the airshow is on you come back to a carpark full of empty cars with flashing headlights and car alarms going off - the vibrations get them all going
Hi Folks, what a glorious day. Sunbathing weather here. Been in the garden most of the day. Dug up a Leucanthemum ' Victorian Secret' its the second one I've tried, they just look scruffy so I've given up on them now. Planted some violas in a few gaps and did loads of deadheading. Moved an astrantia that was buried and generally tidied up.
Hope weather is as good tomorrow as I'm planning to sow seeds.
Have to say Poldark's looking tasty. Would look even better without the sheet whatever thread count it is
I knew you and ma would hit it off Hosta! Thanks for looking after them! and thanks in advance for pressies x
Lesley and SGL.....no waders needed for basement! Had a fire going in the grate today to aid drying, think when then windows go back in it should dry out...its not too bad! It looks it on the pictures but that's cuz of no flash on camera so looks dark.
You wouldn't have wanted to see it before this...trust me! But fast progress is being made, I will keep pictures updated if you like
