Talons sorted, mum visited and greenhouse checked. Chrissy decs to tackle this afternoon. Dragging them up the stairs and out of the cellar is the hardest part.
Dove, do you both fancy a night chez Hosta on way to , or from , St Ives?
Are you serious? You are both sooooooooooo kind - that would be lovely - so much nicer than the Okehampton Travel Lodge (it has it's own charm, but ... )
That's for both of you
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Dove I think Pat may mean she's not getting notifications of posts. How nice that you've got a lovely stopping-off point for your hols.
Rb I'm so pleased that your son's injuries are healing but I can quite understand how he's not over the trauma of it all. I hope your arm is feeling better by tomorrow. Give it a good rest.
Glad to hear your day has improved Yvie. Good luck with the decorations. Ours are staying where they are for another week or so - if I can wait.
Internet disappeared after breakfast not to be seen again until this afternoon so I went to see Son 2, the dentist (but he was off work, baby sitting) and 2 baby grandsons. We went and looked round the market. Normally I avoid market day in Périgueux, especially before Christmas, nowhere to park and masses of traffic. It was like that today, but lovely to see son and grandsons. Took over an hour to get home instead of 25 mins.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

RB glad to hear you son is steadily improving.

I seem to have fallen off the list of people receiving posts, so I'll pack up and wait for tomorrow. Night all.
