Morning all. Autumn mists here but supposed to be a grand day
Heading off to the Pentlands near Edinburgh for my walk today. Had a small niggle with the new boots on Wyvis when we were away so don't want to do anything major till I know they're fine. The 5 there will do me as none are over 2,000 feet and it's distance more than anything.
Hope those students behave Jo
Hope you're feeling well today Pat
Hope you've got that sunny weather in place for those forum holidaymakers Verd
Have a good day everyone
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Pat hope you feeling better. Up in the right hand corner will be your name, try hitting that and menu should scroll down, hit messages and see if that works?
Fairy, you have a grand day for a walk, hope the boots comfy
SG Lily sounds good to me
Joe hope the students nice crowd
hope to get the new box planted where we cleared out, there about 60 plants?
might have a BBQ probably the last one of the season
have a good day

Morning all, not much sun yet but we are in for a lovely day( so they say). Off walking for a couple of hours then back to finish clearing out the worn out summer bedding and rearranging a few others before planting out winter bedding and sowing some hardy annuals. Turned out our compost and leaf mould bins.........oooh it looks good, plants are in for a treat! Have a good day, hope you are feeling a bit better today Pat.
And saw a peach tart flash past the screen! has Verdun left any?
Sounds like people are well and happy the weekend is here!
Pat, I'm glad you had a better night! Hopefully it will help you on the mend to feeling your usual self very soon!
Thanks for looking after Ma and OH Hosta, Hostas OH and Lyn! sounds like you all got on famously!
We have had constant rain here for days and my leaky water butt keeps filling then dribbling away!
Went for a cycle ride yesterday with the person I support. Adapted bikes with a seat and harness on the front so we can peddle our client around the countryside! Cycled around Alton water and he loved it as he's a bit of an adrenaline junkie! Thighs are feeling it today tho!
Also got bitten on the eyelid by something hungry, and now look like someone lumped me one!
More basement clearing today then house party tonight then more basement tomorrow, then hopefully putting the window back in basement Monday!
Will try and take picsof basement so folks can see the scale of job we have on our hands! If anyone has damp proofing tips....please feel free to shsout out!
May the sun shine on you all and waves of weekend happiness wash over every one of you!
Today is my last day at home for a while, I am leaving tomorrow for a month's family reunion in Australia - roll on that sunshine! But getting very nervous now about leaving my garden to the tender mercies of my husband, I want to leaves notes everywhere about what needs doing, watering, deadheading, weeding! Poor man!
Pat E, how's your weather? I'm going to Brisbane, bit far from you, I know, but I hear Spring is coming there????
Wow Oo7 - have a wonderful trip . Sure your plants will be fine at this time of year - its going away in July that gives plant-sitters a challenge.
thats the way to do it Wonky .....cleaning, party, clearing, party, cleaning, party .....and repeat. I went cycling yesterday too. After a summer of practice I can now just about keep up with Mr Chicky
