    Morning everyone!

Clari, hope your cough gets better, very irritating those! I'd suggest a honey and lemon drink also but would put a sneaky brandy in too! image

Best wishes for you and OH tomorrow Chicky! X

Just tried taking a couple of calms tablets before my driving lesson to help with my anxiety. Told Dove who decided it was best to forget I was nearly 40, older than all of you! image and promptly started giving me reasons I should worry about the anxiety medication! image I mean really! image lol! Is it any wonder I have anxiety?!! image love ya Dove! X

    Have a great day all!

  • Wonky, just wanted to make sure you didn't take them for the first time just before driving lesson  imageimage  ((hugs))

Sorry Chicky, forgot to say best wishes for Hubby's procedure tomorrow and the following recovery.  Just think how good it will all be in a couple of weeks!   image

Morning all - lovely sunny day here - am going to give myself 2 hrs off from my 'to do list' to go and do some tidying outside - need some fresh air.

Best wishes to Mr & Mrs C for tomorrow - hope all goes well and hope the lesson goes ok too Wonky - hope the pre Christmas traffic isn't too bad. Had to queue to get into Waitrose car park yesterday - 1st December - more than 3 weeks till Christmas - not a market day - at lunchtime when it's usually quiet - what on earth is going on?

Re Clari's cough. I have had a dry tickly cough since - err - July.image

Had a really horrible virusey thing then - a bit like a cold with really bad sore throat & a bit achey but no snotty nose. Really bad chesty cough for about 2 weeks which slowly dwindled to a dry tickly one.

Then at the end of September (just as the cough was subsiding) I had exactly the same virus thing again and yet another touch of it a couple of weeks ago.

It's flipping exhausting cough cough cough all the time - and things like phone calls have to be carefully planned with a glass of water by my side.

I have been to the doctors and had the full spectrum of chest x-rays, blood tests etc (God bless the NHS - all done the day after my GP consultation) and there doesn't appear to be anything horrible going on.

I have bags of sucking sweets in every room and handbag, boxes of herbal teas, and honey and lemon and just keep trying to soothe & control it. It is slowly getting better but, meantime, it is very, very irritating.

Thanks for all the kind birthday wishes one and all.
Had a lovely day on the beach then came back to room to find champers in room courtesy of the holiday reps here.
Went to dinner to find more bubbles on the table
12 hours of sunshine, 29C on the beach, spent all day with Hubby, but the highlight????
seeing a baby loggerhead turtle start to emerge from the sand on the beach. Yeah, I blubbed.
