Morning all. Bright sunny here. Still crook, but resigned to being an old crock! Have installed a heater in the toilet room. Hubby has been amazing. Preparing all sorts of tempting things to eat, but I'm not able to face much of them. Chicken soup last night but only managed a mouthful before I had to stop. The night before he made little wraps with mountain bread (don't know if you have that, but it's a thin unleavened bread) with a little salad and grilled chicken. That stayed down ok.
Visitor stayed until 12.30 I'm told, but I packed it in before that and didn't even hear her leave - it's all fire brigade talk which I tune out of anyway. As usual, slept heavily, but am almost sorry to see the morning.
Lilypilly, thanks for advice about message. It wasn't a PM, just the usual notification and when I opened the page, there wasn't a post from Panda - a bit odd, but I assume she'll appear again sometime.
still sunny here at 4pm, but heavy weather predicted for the next few days. Managed (with Hubby's help) to get a couple of loads of washing out and back in, so I can forget that for a few days. Trying to keep mobile today to see if that helps. I'm rather wondering when I'll hear from Dr about the blood test. the blood lady said it should be back from Canberra on Monday.(yes I do know what to call her, but I'm sure the spell checker wouldn't be able cope with it.) phlebotamist - did it work?
Sorry you're still feeling so bad Pat. Get plenty of rest and keep up the fluids. Did you see any posts from Panda at all? I was just wondering whether you may have put her on the ignore member list by accident in the forum settings.
Rb the nylon sheets brought back memories for me too. Remember the shop Brentford Nylon? My Mum used to buy sheets there because they were quick to dry and didn't crease. I hated them with a passion.
