Oh that's sad fidge. I always enjoyed features on his garden. Surely he wasn't that old?
I've trained myself to empty my ruckie after walks but I often leave my boots in the car till the following week....and they usually have my socks in them as well....
Note to self - must try harder
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
A neighbour has been away and I have been walking their dogs while the house sitter is at work. I go along a walk way along an old filled in bit of a canal. There was a bit of land adjacent that was just waste land. Well they managed to squeeze about a dozen houses on it, and bulldozed the wild area adjacent to the old canal. It was screaming for some plants, so I planted a few wild damson pits, and scattered some seeds to give a nectar bar for insects next year. I hope its prettier than the docks and nettles coming up. The developers did plant some trees. Unfortunately they planted in June and no one has watered them. Most of them look pretty dead.
First proper Guide meeting completed It's funny, it feels like a chore before I get there, and then when they arrive I am reminded what a lovely bunch of girls we have
Morning all. I'm glad you enjoyed my photo of Costa. He's an OK gardener. I don't always watch the show. It's arranged like your GW with presenters from other areas as well. Costa mainly does Sydney, so his comments aren't always helpful for us in the mountains. We do better with the young bloke from Hobart, Tino Carnavali.
Not long woken up and slept well all night. A bit cold this morning, they were expecting more snow at Perisher and Thredbo overnight - the last 2 weeks of the ski season according to the weather man. It's also the start of the school holidays (for 2 weeks) and we've all been warned that the police will be out in force on the roads. We're not going anywhere!
it looks a bit foggy/misty out there. Could be light rain. I'm not going to test it. We're planning a quiet Saturday.

Ooh er, why do I have a blue bit on the smilie.
Good point, fidget. I should see how plants do before buying more. Ho hum. Pennies staying in pocket.

I keep getting a message that 4th Panda has posted a message, but it doesn't come up here. I guess it'll come when it's ready to.
misty and cold outside this morning but at least no wind.
