KEF & Runny - with you on the wild hair front.  We're off on hols at the start of June & my hair will be in my eyes until Friday week.  Daren't cut my fringe again or the hairdresser will tut at me image

My mum has now forgotten my dad completely, I think.  Actually it's easier that way than when she used to ask me where he was, & I had to decide whether to remind her that he'd died years before.  image  But on the bright side, she's still mostly content, and to everyone's surprise is walking a little distance again.  I thought she'd be completely chair-bound after her fall, but she's definitely improved.  image

Great hat, Dove!  It'd make me look like a pink mushroom, mind.  Needs your height to carry it off, I think...  image

Liri hugs. I think sometimes people with dementia lose the pain receptors in the brain and can do things that in the past were prohibited due to pain image My dad could lift up his arms far higher than previous years ..no pain. At work I encountered a lady who fell into an open fire and even though horribly burned felt no pain and at that time she was able to say if things hurt her.

Glad your mum is doing okay image

Evening all. Very odd day at work but then we expect no less these days. Just finishing off a few jobs I couldn't do in the office and now settling down to see what I've missed.

    Too early for gin?

I SAID IS IT TOO EARLY FOR GIN????

Nope not to early if you earned it! If you can justify it to yourself then nobody else's opinion counts on that front, go for it Clari! image
