I had a tumble drier when the family were at home - couldn't have done without it - but now, with just two of us it's ok - we don't find that things get crispy - but I do quite a bit of shaking and re-arranging and re-folding etc.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Another trailer load of firewood this afternoon. Hoping the weather keeps warming up. We got to 14c today and sunny, but rain has been predicted all day - can't beat the weather man!
Feeling a bit hard done by. We've been watching 'so you think you can dance, U.S. ' for weeks an Friday nights at 7.30 and this week they decided to change it to Saturday at 5pm. So, while Hubby had it set to record on Friday, we got some other idiotic show and nearly missed this afternoon's episode.
Fruit trees are bursting into blossom, broccolini started to have flower heads, so am looking forward to an early spring.
Morning all. Beautiful day here so hope it continues. Inverness area looking good for a few days anyway
Glad you enjoyed your concert Pat. I'm a Placido girl and have a few things recorded for watching in the winter. A few of us here fight over the wondrous Placido....but I saw him first ....
I unashamedly use the drier in winter. With three sets of bedclothes alone it would be a nightmare! I hate stuff on radiators and I'm not fond of airers, although I have one. I don't have any spare rooms here for putting it in either, but this summer has been tricky for getting it outside - like a military operation sometimes catching the weather!
Off to get myself organised now but will look in when I get time as we don't leave till lunchtime. Hope Tootles gets on well with the show produce
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I'll be visiting Ma later this morning Fg, so if I don't get the chance later - have a super smashing holiday!!! ((hugs)) - hope the weather is kind to you

Had an impromptu trip up to London yesterday evening. OH had taken the Chicklets up for the day - museum visiting - so I suddenly decided to down tools late afternoon and met them for the evening. fun times. We wandered round Chinatown and Covent Garden, and finished up with a Wagamamas in Leicester Square. Ended up being back quite late ......so now I must whizz around like a whirling dervish preparing guest room etc ...,.DD is so much better at these things than me
Bon voyage to Fairy and Lizzie .......have a lovely time both
Morning everyone! Have read back but not retained a drop! only had one coffee so far and sand pits still forming in corners of eyes!
Hope everyone's weeks been good and a nice weekend is ahead for us all!
I will be using the weekend to get ahead cooking evening meals for the coming week...already patting myself on the back for doing the sainsburys shop at 9pm last night.....some real bargains at that time too!
After watching Monty just now I realise I haven't done the last 3 weeks homework in the garden just about kept in top of the dead heading, moved the zineas as they had over crowded the entire bed, so they are in the big planter with some marigolds.
Haven't done anything else and the list is growing!
Hope those on holidays enjoy them, those that are unwell, recover soon! Those that need comfort, have hugs!

I'd miss a tumble dryer - everything turns crispy being dried on airers. I'm terrible for using it in the summer

Oh Pat, the hint of spring is my favourite time of year. Autumn's coming so fast over here.
