It was all that posing topless & other weird stuff which made me wonder if he's really quite stable. Does he really think that's appropriate behaviour for a head of state with so much power?

Still - if he does frighten the enemy that can only be  a good thing. image

    Hope Rb's son is improving.

P Doc - sorry to hear the news about your OH - but am I right in thinking she had to do a horrendous commute? That's not much fun at the best of times and certainly not in the dark winter months. I also got the impression she wasn't enjoying the job that much anyway.

Perhaps this will be a mixed blessing and she'll be able to find something she enjoys more much closer to home.

Best wishes to you both image

Best wishes to Lily P as well - hope you have a more comfortable day.

Oh PDoc was it expected? image Just before Christmas too, I don't know if it's a blessing in disguise I can't imagine spending Christmas not knowing if I had a job.

LP what have you been up too??

Just thought I'd share this with you: after a day watching racing cars I'm not sure my friend will be the most delicate of drivers home from ours so I was trying to think of a way to get an aloe vera baby safely to his wife.

    Taa daa!!

I think it looks really rather cute!

I've had to empty the vacuum cleaner three times while blitzing the house today. My Henry that I use to clean my classroom only needs to be emptied once every six months! Either Dysons are very effective or they have the smallest of dust collection points. I promise you I clean the house regularly image

    Afternoon all,

Took me ages to read back, Nanna duty yesterday so too busy to contribute.

Runny, so sorry to hear about your son.  I hope he feels better soon. Dog owners really do have a lot to answer for, they should never be allowed to own a pet again.

Pat I always envy people who are living in a hot climate - until I'm one of them and then I realise how debilitating extreme heat can be.  Stay cool.

Dove, how exciting to get a new area to design and plant.

Lilly glad you enjoyed your trip to Moscow and hope you feel better soon.

P'doc, sorry to hear the news re OH.  Hope she finds something soon. Keep your chin up.

Have been using my light lamp regularly over the last week and have really noticed a difference in my mood.

It's really cold here, but the sun is glorious.  It's very windy too, just had to seek out and retreive the lid to the dustbin that I store my birdfood in.  Took delivery of some new primroses so need to do something with them.  Also still have some bulbs to get in.

Hope everyone except Pat stays warm and cosy.
