Sounds like a stressful journey Fidget, but glad you made it ok. Enjoy your honeymoon under the sea. Let us know if you find any octopus's gardens
......sorry Hosta - I'm sure that apostrophe is in the wrong place....I've tried it every which way and none look right. Maybe it would work better with octopi ....but I'm pretty sure that's not right either.
And on that little grammatical conundrum, I will bid you all night night
Glad Mr and Mrs Fidget are safely honeymooning and that the tyre mishap was no worse!!!
Lowest overnight temp here was 5.8C.
I was just listening to the farming programme on R4 - they were talking about the damage done to the stone walls and bridges on the Lake District fells - it's going to cost a fortune to rebuild them

Where are you Fidget? Is this your honeymoon? Have looked back over your posts and you mentioned once that you were packing. Have a lovely time.
Currently in St Lucia. This is indeed my honeymoon.
Im not sure about the fourposter bed. Its so high I'll need steps to get into it, and absailing ropes to get out.

Fidget, best wishes for a lovely honeymoon. It must be about 7 pm there I think. My time is nearly 11 am here.
we're in for 30 degrees today. Perth is going to 40. I'm not looking forward to it, but will probably stay indoors.
Lizzie, your plans sound very nice. We often watch 'a place in the sun' and lots of people do that too.
Lizzie, have a lovely time in Norfolk.
Fidget, wow, St Lucia. Have a wonderful time.
Night night everyone.
tee hee chicky.
I'd say the garden of a single octopus is indeed and octopus's garden, but if it's the garden of more than one octupus: maybe octopuses' garden?
Back to my mango and strawberry infusion methinks.
Good morning all

Good morning Dove. You must be getting sick of the cold weather. Our day was warmer for a change, but not too hot.
G'day Pat
I was thinking that nearly 6C was quite warm for an overnight temperature in February!!!
It's usually around freezing at night at this time of year.
