    Morning all!

Sorry to hear you are unwell Dove. Hope you feel better soon.

Hope your clearing goes well Nut

Bright morning here so hope can get outside in the garden shortly. Maybe even trip down the GC.

Kind of you folks - not really poorly, just sniffly and a bit of a chestikoff - wouldn't take any notice of it in normal circumstances, but Pa is so vulnerable image

Morning all. Lily, I think I've caught your muzzy head image as I've woken up with one too. I'm not officially up yet, having a lie in as it's Saturday image

Tasks for today would be to plant everything that was supposed to get planted last weekend! I also want to take a turn around the garden and see what's coming up. I think I spotted some hyacinths showing their noses last weekend image

Bill, hope your wife has a good birthday. And I hope your snow clears soon. My cousin lives in Kingston and is suffering the same drifts as you. Just can't imagine that much snow!

    Thanks Nut image

Dove, just what are you knitting? I'm hoping it's not another jumper for your OH image

Nope, not for OH this time - for daughter, short-sleeved jumper with lacey yoke and sleeves  in a greeny-blue - the lace is a 6-row pattern with every row different so I have to keep referring to the pattern and it's easy to mis-read image  I shall start the lacey bit again this afternoon.

Morning all. Very bad night's sleep so not myself today. Very restless after a neighbour visited with some troubles on her mind. Perspective, as Verd said yesterday.

Quite a nice looking day here but rain coming later apparently. Not sure what I'll be doing yet. Ground is too soggy for me to do any of the stuff I want to get on with, but  I could get some compost and carry on filling the last (biggest) raised bed and getting some of the plants into it. It's about half done. Not really planned their positions though. Could plant the little Clematis 'Constance' I got last week too.

Bill - hugs to your wife today. You'll not feel much like celebrating but I hope you have a nice time together. image

Good morning all. Hugs to Bill and your wife.

Sunny, but clouds coming. Just had a look around garden, grass is growing, needs cutting, but ground is like a wet sponge.

OH has had 3 colds this winter that I haven't caught. I gargle with mouthwash and take extra vitamin C. Don't know if that will help, Dove, as you say you are chesty.

Think I'll go and sow some more seeds, perhaps nicotiana.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
