Dove, all my Achilleas are 2ft tall, whats happened to yours?
I have been to daughters in Cornwall today, freezing cold, all we did was visit the two GC's. Far too cold to walk round gardens!
We had four little girls with, two and a half year olds, littles dears, they love a mooch round the GC smelling all the flowers, they loved the verbena and lavender.
We picked up another 6 from school, so 10 little kids altogether, you wouldnt have thought there was a child in the house.

hi folks - logged on to distract from having just dropped (and smashed) ceramic le creuset pot - not happy at all..
dove: just read your post re your mum and dad; none of my business, but my dad died recently and had dementia - i was told to go along with whatever his 'reality' was, even if nonsense. my dad did a lot of work with the lifeboats (round the country and also down in norfolk!) 20 years ago; well there was lots of times he told me that he wouldn't be around for visiting because he was going to be out on the boats.... eh, no dad! you're 90 years old and in a care home now.... funnily enough i always managed to coincide my visits with his arrivals back on shore though....
