It's still drizzling here and jolly wet underfoot - the pond's filled up a bit but we could really do with double the amount of rain that we've had - but I'd like a fine day tomorrow please so we can go for our beach stomp image

fingers crossed it stays on the cool side tomorrow so our neighbour won't  have too hideous a time watering the tunnels for me.

He said " How much does it need? just a sprinkle?"

Me, " erm, give it as much water as you think it might possibly need, then give it some more. "

    Him " oh"

That's ok Hostafan - we've booked all the sunshine for the East Anglian coast tomorrow - it'll be cool and damp down your way image

Did you see my post re free parking at Chatsworth?  We've started a new page ... you might have missed it image

I noticed Dove, that's very kind of you to pass it on.

We'd planned to " see how the weather turns out" before deciding, so can't really book in advance.

Whatever you do I hope you enjoy your 'mini-break' - it's such a lovely area.

The sun's already crept up here and is trying to shine - it'll be cool and damp down your way any minute image

You're right there Dove, bit more than cool and damp.

Just as RB, if not more so. But he was wounded some of the time so that bit was more along the lines of pale and interesting.

Rain's stopped again - I know I've just time and really should go and give the front bed a bit of TLC but I can't move courtesy of the deliciously ruined walnut fudge cake image(well, I couldn't take it to the party tomorrow so HAD to hide the evidenceimage).
