    Morning all.

A bit of much needed rain overnight and this morning. So glad I got the rotovating done yesterday. Even managed to get the "allotment" done too.

Lots of spuds growing which were left in ground after last year's harvest. Oops.

A day in the tunnels to-day, so it can rain as much as it likes.

    Devon.

Morning all image sounds like the rain is visiting most of us today, I will behappy if it hills off until I have sown lawn seed! Don't even mind my aching bones now I havelooked out the bedroom window and seen how much improved the garden looks image I do strongly object to work interfering with perfectly good gardening time! So I have decided to start gardening at work too! ( support worker for adults withlearning disabilities) so we will be gardening at work too image

But I think Winter has the best day ahead! Sounds lovely!

Have a lovely day all ????

And Dove, didn't sleep well at all....couldn't turn my brain off, kept planning compost bins....my Womble recycling has decided to line the new compostbin with part of the paddling pool that I dug out of the lawn from the last residents, who obviously didn't have the number of a skip hire company as I have found most of the contents of a house under my soil! image

Glad you had a nice time with uncle and Gma image x

Brief visit from tree surgeon. Climbed the Yew,found Song Thrush nest at top, we agreed It should be left alone, so will return in the summer.

Rain has started image Quick question, am looking after Ma and Pa's tomatoes while they are on holiday. Should I bring them in at night (too tall for my cold frame)?

Morning all, sky looks very threatening here, it has rained in the night so things should look good when I eventually manage to get out into the garden.

Had a bit of a funny week.  A car was hijacked in the town and the woman who was driving was run over in the process.  The hijackers then decided to go on a drunken 'joyride' which ended up with them smashing the car into my daughters mini parked outside her house, which then pushed the mini into her boyfriends car and the next door neighbours car before embedding itself into the railings in front of her little terraced house.  Finally stopped 8 inches from her front window.  This all happened at 1.30 in the morning.  Two teenage kids then ran off.

They have been caught and apparently released on bail.  Secondborn has spent a couple of days sorting out insurance and hire car.  Can't believe they got bail when they ran the woman over and when I say ran over I mean 'ran over her legs'.

Not sure what I will be doing today, although it will probably involve catching up on a bit of TV , including Poldark, and visiting mum.

Good morning Wonky image  Now you know what keeps me awake at night image

Yvie, they let them out on bail as there's a shortage of appropriate places to hold teenagers image
