Rest the back Pdoc! Don't let the cricket get you too worked up subtle gestures at the TV only, now jumping up quickly etc!
Congratulations on the 100th Fairy! you have earned those cuppas!
Best of luck with the unblocking Dove! What have you baked the plumber? I know your record of feeding workmen...no wonder they never quite finish the job!....back for more soup and home made biscuits!
Off to work, going swimming today, sailing Wednesdays.....really hard work
Have a lovely day folks!
Not too loudly due to Pandas potential head.....its Friday!!!!! ......explanation....haven't had a job with weekends off in over 3 years!
Morning all - back at work today after my mid-week-mini-break......but only one day til the weekend. Was so nice to wake up this morning without any underlying stressy thoughts ......its been a long summer
Congratulations on the 100th Fairy. Thats some achievement - loved the celebratory banner. Hope Dove's plumber is performing miracles right this very minute. And I'll be keeping my eyes out for you Hosta, as you are spending the weekend on my patch - looks like you are meant to be bringing the sunshine with you
hope back is easier today Pdoc, and that Lily finally got some sleep
No chance of cutting the grass to-day and more showers forecast tomorrow.
It'll be a nightmare to cut after we come home next Friday.
Congrats to Fairygirl. I have to negotiate 4 steps from the terrace when I feed the fish.
That's as much as my knee can take some days. Glad to live in a bungalow.
Talking of feeding the workmen.
OH took the old girl he's working for this week some veg from the garden. Not only has she supplied him with lunch every day, she's made him a cottage pie to bring home so he doesn't have to cook dinner to-night , bless'er.
Thanks for all the congrats. Not bad for an old timer I suppose
Hosta - the four steps from the back door to take the bins out this morning were enough for me today! I have to wear a knee brace or I could go up hills but wouldn't get back down!
If it had been a nice clear day chicky - I would have done something better in advance but I knew it wasn't going to be good at the summit. The wind was pretty strong too and it was just clag all round- no visibility. Lower down was fine of course. If I'd gone last weekend it would have been beautiful - but that's life
WW - lovely to have weekends off isn't it? I spent twenty years working weekends so I appreciate very much! Glad the job's going well
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
