Hosta - I suppose you really do have to go - you couldn't postpone it until you're better? Is it worth putting yourself though it all ... only you know ((hugs))
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Flip! It was quite bright earlier on - there's a load in the wash and I was just going out to plant the tulips and allium bulbs - look out of the window - it's bucketing down

Just back from a charity coffee morning, all very nice, even managed to coerce some fellow knitters into doing some little Xmas Decs for the school fete. Next task is to help 85 children make Xmas cards from their own hand prints, lots of paint & glitter to be utilised - sounds messy. Going to spread the task over a few sessions, hopefully by the end we'll have got a 'system' going.
Did something I never do last night and watched 3 episodes of a tv drama back to back, just wanted to catch up to real time - which I did, really enjoying it too, Unforgotten, great recommendation. Just need to do the same with River now before I lose the plot - don't say a word.
Good luck with the drive Hosta, hope it's worth it.
Dove, Bulb planting is certainly causing problems this year for us all.
Verdun, hope you gave a big smile into the camera.

P doc hope you get relief soon, also hope you can raise a glass, if not revert to straws!
Hosta I haven't been able to sit for a week, try "perching" on the other cheek ! Really sympathise, have you tried a deep freeze gel? I think they help
DD I truly wish you could bottle your energy,! I would be your first customer! agree with you about tele progs are you a Homeland fan?
horrible depressing day all the lighs on, not cold but very damp, the leaves are now dangerous as they so wet so I have to take my walking pole round the garden.

Hosta I've got two inflatable cushions ( don't ask ) I could have sent you the spare one. actually it was to stop me getting a numb bum on long drives home after walking! Would you like the spare one, LP?
Hope Liri's mum is settled. Hope Liri is too
DD - it's confusing when the same actress is in both shows! I'm not so keen on River, but Unforgotten gets better and better
Chicky - that's great that Mr chicky is feeling well enough to do all that. Frustration is such a big part of the problem with recovery. Little steps
Weather forecast for the hills this weekend is every shade of s*** Lesley. Lightning, hail, sleet and rain. I'll be like a bear with a sore head. I may have to make the bee hotel with the piece of log in the kitchen that I've dried out. Better charge up the drill
Have you caught up with yourself yet WW
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Yes LP, did watch a couple of seasons of Homeland a while back, but not seen the latest series. As far as energy goes I am fine if I keep going, not good at doing nothing but sometimes it catches up with me and I stall badly. Hope your back is starting to feel a bit better.
Know what you mean about River Fairy, is a bit dark at times, managed an episode whilst i*****g this afternoon. A bee hotel sounds like a great project for the week-end.

It's had very good reviews but the music is all new due to copyright issues.
It's at the Adelphi, so a stroll across Waterloo Bridge and down The Strand a bit. Sure I can manage that.
