My elder daughter is doing a sponsored walk / climb next month in aid of NSPCC. She's walking up the Shard .

She climbed the 320 steps at Hampstead tube station 3 times on Tuesday as part of her practice.

mercifully it's just , I say JUST walking up the stairs Fairygirl.

They do give you a glass of champagne when you get to the top.

There's a group of nutters , who race, yes I mean run, up. Loonies.

You can also pay £80 and take the lift , but you're expected to raise a lot in sponsorship to do that .

agree Fairygirl, but they still raise money for a very good cause.

I'm the least competitive person on earth, which might explain my total indifference to any form of sport.

I just don't care who wins.

    It's just folk playing games.
