Sunny here at the moment Verdun, but it's supposed to rain today - perhaps yours is coming our way.  We could do with some, the wildlife pondlevel has dropped by about 4 inches!

  • Morning all,

Soil arrived - at last for my 'very soon to be rockery', I put him off last week because the rubble wasn't ready and he said Monday or Tuesday, suppose Wednesday before 9am is still sort of Monday or Tuesday -ish. image

Happy Birthday for yesterday OL and nice to see you. image

Wonky I do hope you are not feeling too wonky this morning, I really suffered last week, steady away. image

    Morning all.

    Cold and wet here.

Tree surgeons coming again today, to reduce height of one of the Yew trees, which makes garden very dark in winter. I wanted some crown lifting on a couple of Beeches, but I am not sure it is a good idea, need to discuss it with them.

    Have a good day.

Sorry Lizzie I missed your post about the children's pets.  How sadimage.

Very cold while I was out this morning, despite wearing my thickest dog walking coat.  Saw a dipper and heron at the local burn though which took my mind off itimage.  Your robin is getting very tame now Doveimage.

Good luck with the soil shifting DDimage.

Morning all. Thank you all for the pet sympathy.

Nice day, so far. Gardening, weeding on the agenda.

I had a horrid dream that the house had been burgled in the night and OH's piano was outside on the terrace, but all is OK. Phew!

    Morning everyone image

No rain here . . . . . . yet image Sky looks like it might rain though image Am going out for lunch so would rather it didn't rain while I'm outside image

  • Morning all, I was up at 5, but didn't like to disturb you. Have had a peacock in the garden. He's looking for a girlfriend!

Band of rain just arriving, which may just help Hampshire stave off defeat against Notts. By the way Verd., I worked my magic on Cornwall again when they beat Dorset recently, having been bowled out for a paltry 117. I was there! They never lose when I turn up. ????image
