Good morning all, although the lucky ones are still in bed,. Woken by Mr Fox and the squawking of a chicken, no feathers on the lawn so I hope he wasn't taken.
planning what to do over the next four days, if I achieve 10% I will be pleased.
Off to visit daughter today - it's her birthday tomorrow - her present is a new set of garden tools (spade, fork, hand fork, trowel, secateurs and gloves) and a big pile of old GW magazines She's always enjoyed her garden but now her shift pattern has changed she gets longer to enjoy it and the old tools were getting a bit ropey.
I shall have a hot cross bun slathered in butter before I go
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Already done Hosta - she grew nasturtiums when she was 3 years old - when the caterpillars ate them all she said she had a Butterfly Farm
Now she's well into her 30s and working for Mencap with LD adults and she's got her people gardening - last year I gave them some tomato plants - this year they've already asked if I've got any spare for them and are getting excited - I'm growing them some 100s and 1000s cherry tom plants this year

Morning all. Just nipping in to wish you all a lovely day. I'll be working so please save some chocolate for me!
I nearly took a photo of my truck last night for you: kegs for 200 pints of real beer, 50 pies, tins of mushy peas, cakes to feed half of Sheffield, cans of pop to fill a swimming pool... now to hope we can sell them all!
