    Afters!

What a great day I've had image

Sun is shining, housework all done by 10 and rest of day with my beloved, no not him, but my garden image

Was mindful to potter today due to weekend shifts but still managed to plant another hefty rescue clematis, John Paul I I. It got dug out early this year due to slug damage but I've never seen it in full glory since I bought it 3yrs back. It's had a hard time wrongly planted by me then last yr it grew well but withered late summer probably lack of moisture, so this time I've given it a treasured spot where it's particular clay, so plenty of nutrients once it gets its feet down.

I also made drifts from a congested clump of Cowslips, to look more natural next spring.  Finished some other jobs and watered the newest stuff so it doesn't wilt while I'm working

Mostly happy with all three garden rooms

    Bath time!

Hope you enjoy Calstock, Hostafan - only a mile or two up the road from where I was born in Pentillie, near St Mellion and Cargreen. It's making me think of sitting on the banks of the Tamar with a Tiddy Oggie and a pint of Cornish beer (and NOT bottled Doombar!)

    Afternoon all. Lovely day.

Paper read, cricket watched, NO alcohol drunk, although I think that will soon change, as there is a nice bottle of Provencal Rose chilling in the fridge awaiting OHs return from work. Should go nicely with that cake Dove.

I am already starting to think about next holiday, and I have only been back a week.

    Have a lovely evening all.

How can you lie there and think of England

Steve.  Don't fall for it.  There is no cake.  There is a cruel game going on here.  I have yet to have any cake image

I'll have to bring one when we visit Cornwall image
