Do you mean Unforgotten DD, very good so far, that is OnDemand so no adverts. I love that, can't bear adverts every ten or fifteen minutes. Two gone so far. There are so many stars in it, top stars. I wonder how it will all come together.
My grandson is a mathematician, he's twelve studying a level work at a Maths school.

Thank you Hosta and Lyn, yes I must mean Unforgotton. It was on the previous page. Told you I was 'arty', not clever. Very clever grandson Lyn, obviously well ahead of others his age. You must be very proud of him.
Right, now I really, really need to get out there.

Right, I'm back from the garage - not bad going as there was rush-hour mayhem due to someone trying to take a short cut over the top of a roundabout and the police were having to clear up the mess. I caught a bus from the garage into the city centre, popped into M&S and bought a couple of basic jumpers - had to hunt for them, they seem not to be doing the same cheapie range of vee neck plain lightweight knitwear that they've always done in the past and the ones they do have are all in revolting colours - how do M&S keep getting it sooooo wrong?
Then I popped into Lakeland looking for a specific item, but they didn't have it so dashed into WH Smith, picked up a newspaper and caught my bus home, arriving exactly two hours since I left. I think that's not bad.
Now it's time for a coffee and Popmaster
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Hosta, I've been enjoying Naked Choir too. I like all three remaining groups; the Sons of Pitches are the most accomplished, I think, but they haven't moved me like Choral Stimulation did. And the Stratford East Singers are fantastic for an un-auditioned community group. (I sing in an a cappella group but we don't do a lot of vocal jazz.)
Sister has returned home, and we've made our choice of new Home for Mum, subject to her mental health assessment (sounds a bit like buying a house "subject to contract" ). Although I'm confident that Mum will be happiest in the small, quiet home (the one with cat, garden and chickens) near my sister in the north-east, I feel really sad that I won't be able to pop in and see her any time I want. But I shall programme in plenty of trips to Northumberland, and will be able to spend time with my lovely sister, neice and her children at the same time, so it's not all bad... The next job is to work out the logistics of the move. The home she's in at the moment reckon we shouldn't tell her that she's moving, but just furnish her new bedroom as much like the old one as possible, and take her out for a nice drive, finishing up at the new home...
Best wishes to poorly toes and thumbs, and congrats to Wonky on beating the world record for the amount of washing completed in a week...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Just made the Christmas pudding, simmering away in the pressure cooker, not pressured just using as a saucepan, it doesn't fit into anything else, then offered to make one for son and DIL.
Muggy and drizzley here, had a walk round, back in, cats won't go out, must be wet.
Now off to wash and straighten hair, then film on tv later.
Hope your mum settles down Liri, probably wise not to tell her, just say you've popped in 'on the off chance, and woo hoo! Isn't this a nice room.'
They always offer nice incentives for new customers Verdun, I think they should offer offers to existing ones.

Gosh, that's young Lyn. Well done him.
I quite like the ads, can go to the loo or get a drink or walk about so as not to get stiff.

You and me both, Verdun...
Afternoon all!

Sons of Pitches, Liri...that's fantastic! Might have to start watching just for the names!
You're right Lyn - last night was the third episode of Lewis (first of the second story). Started on 6th October.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
