Gardengirl - the pond is bigger than my car! It would have worn it like a comedy poncho.

KEF - any idea where Hamza is based? I wonder if his parents could look on gumtree / freecycle for either a proper cold frame or at least the bricks he'll need?

Clarington - ponds always look smaller once they're installed and filled etc - you'll be glad you got a big one image

Hi, folks.Just a quick drop in. MIl is still fighting, but declining slowly. The round the clock vigil(in shifts) continues. She now has pneumonia, kidney failure and very high blood sugar levels despite not eating since New years eve.  Thank you for all your messages of support.   I pop in (the forum)from time to time, but  not feeling like posting much. The siblings are getting on each others nerves, as they havn't spent this much time together in years.  Just waiting........

Fidget, thinking of you, such a very sad time for you all.my best wishes and hugs x

Fidget - like others, impossible to find words that can help - but thinking of you all

Oh Fidget I am sorry. I hope that she's comfortable and isn't aware of any grumps going on. Its such a stressful time with emotions running high everyone is bound to have their own idea of what is acceptable to say to another.

Look after yourself and remember to encourage your partner to rest and eat sensibly when they can. You need to look after yourselves.

Keep safe and remember we're here for you whenever you need a sympathetic ear (or distracting ramblings from frustrated gardeners desperate to get their seeds in the ground and waving tape measures around trying to work out why anyone would build a gate too small for their latest purchase).

Dove I hope you're right because as fantastic as big us better is I'm a little worried it'll look like we have a moat!
