    Linda - left-over Christmas pud makes a fabulous ice cream using bought vanilla ice cream and a little brandy image

    Also slices of left over pud are wonderful fried in butter, dredged with sugar and served with cream image

    Hi.

    This is crazy, we all mean so much to each other, we cannot allow this piece of stupidity to spoil things.

    Clearly the picture was inappropriate for this forum, I am sure even Edd will realise that now. However this should not make people want to leave, and for us all to fall out.

    Most of us understand the dividing line between Aiden Turner / gold hot pants etc. on the one hand, and pictures like that on the other. I am not sure whether Edd gets that or not, but I do not believe he was deliberately trying to upset people, merely being a bit stupid.

    Verdun was really just trying to lighten the obvious tension that was going to be caused by the picture.

    Please can we all be friends, I need you.

  • Made boxes of biscuits for everyone this year-hob nobs,shortbread,rocky road, plus relish,jam,chutney, then I put it all into hampers for everyone. I think its nice to make to make Christmas stuff to share-already getting ideas together for next year. There will be Gingerbread in jars,Lemon Shortbread and fudge...and Christmas Puds!! Haven't done Mincemeat in a while,so thats a possibility.image

    I could manage a little wedge of Stilton to go with my sloe gin ...... anyone got any left?
