    MrsGarden, they are in the paddock, so not in our actual garden, and wings are clipped so hopefully wont be digging up my veg patch. Having said that, one did make an escape attempt this afternoon and we found it on the drive.

    A bigger problem is next door's chickens which are completely free range i.e all over our garden image So I need to chicken proof our garden and clip THEIR wings before I make any attempt to grow anything in the spring.
