Good luck  with the dentist Rosemummy.

My granddaughter (how can I have a granddaughter when I'm only 27) is having her braces off today. She's had them for 2 years and has put up with a lot, mouth ulcers and sly comments from boys at school which nocked her confidence. Her teeth are beautiful and straight now and all she wants today is an apple that she's not been able to eat.

I'm having a rest today and probably tomorrow (apart from dog walking which has to be done) as I've got a long journey down to near London and back tomorrow so won't have time for swimming or cycling image

    Good luck at the dentist.

I was worried about my high heels for my sister's wedding but have now got the perfect shoes (by accident), that I think I will be able to walk in even though they are 3" high! Trouble is, we now need to look for more shoes for my sister!!! image

hmmm, shoe shopping used to be my favourite thing.. i have a fantastic collection, especially cowboy boots! loads of fab heels, endless sandals, countless long boots... hope my daughter's feet are same size, she'll have an amazing vintage shoe collection! o.l i used to be so fit and into exercise, on long journeys i'd do tummy and bum clenches!!! how come i just forget now? going to cornewall next month so it'd be great if i could remember, but i'll probably be bust singing along to the jungle book and saying 'nearly there' over and over again

I do quite a bit of driving about and must admit to doing my pelvic floor exercises when sat in traffic jams image

    Morning all.

I hate shoe shopping, so many beautiful shoes that don't fit. I have big, broad, flat feet, size 7, I'm 5' 3". And I have a hammer toe and the beginnings of a bunion. Yuk! Not even many of the Hotter shoes fit. And my feet burn when I stand for long.

    Weeding today, again.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I wore a pair of stilettos for the party at the weekend - didn't fall over once ( that I remember !). Bought them for a wedding but didn't dare wear them! Like rise, I used to work in them all the time, children seem to do something to your feet dont they...?

Glad to see giraffes are commonplace - looking out the train window at the gardens, but not spotted any here yetimage

Grey and mizzly drizzly here in Londinium - but will be stuck in a dungeon (sorry-meeting room) for most of the day so won't notice.

Have a lively day all image

Ooops that should have said "lovely". But lively is good too!

About to get off my train and go tottering - heels seem to be obligatory part of the office uniform..... Wonder if i'd get away with converses ?....?....

I have some gorgeous Nine West stiletto sandals (bargain but from Florida, couldnt afford them here!), they are so pretty but have no support at all as very strappy, I fell over in them last time I wore them.....I told OH I would before I even got out of the taxi image I guess I'm too old for young ladies shoes now.

I actually dislike shopping for anything for me, I just can't justify the cost and most things look awful (unless it for with garden!), but OH has promised me a pre holiday shopping trip for treats if I reach my goal image
